ELAC is an advisory committee whose purpose is to be a voice for English Learners and ensure that their needs are addressed in order for them to be academically successful. The responsibility of ELAC members is to:
- Advise the principal & school staff in the development of a site plan for ELs and submit the plan to School Site Council (SSC) for consideration for inclusion in the School Plan for Student Achievement (SPSA) (EL Action Plan in SPSA)
- Assist with the development of the school wide needs assessment
- Assist with the school’s efforts to make parents aware of the importance of regular school attendance
- ELECT a representative to the District English Learner Advisory Committee (DELAC)
2024-2025 Meetings
The English Learner Advisory Committee meets five times throughout the year.
Everyone is welcome to attend! All meetings are held virtually through Zoom unless otherwise stated. The agendas for each meeting will be published on this site.

Meeting #2 - Friday, October 11, 2024 from 8:30 a.m. to 9:30 a.m.
Meeting #3 - Friday, January 24, 2025 from 8:30 a.m. to 9:30 a.m.
Meeting #4 - Friday, March 14, 2025 from 8:30 a.m. to 9:30 a.m.
