School Site Council (SSC)

Join Our School Site Council!

The SSC is an elected decision-making group comprised of parents and staff who represent our school and community in an advisory position. The Council annually reviews the Safe School Plan, Single School Plan, as well as parent survey and achievement data. It provides a venue for parents to learn more about the programs at Sparks Elementary and serve in an advisory capacity to the principal and school.

SARC

School Accountability Report Card

Every school in California is required by state law to publish a School Accountability Report Card (SARC) by February 1st of each year. The SARC contains information about the condition and performance of each California public school. Under the Local Control Funding Formula (LCFF) all Local Educational Agencies (LEAs) are required to prepare a Local Control Accountability Plan (LCAP), which describes how they intend to meet annual school-specific goals for all pupils, with specific activities to address state and local priorities. Additionally, data reported in a LCAP is to be consistent with data reported in the SARC.
